Katayoun is a seasoned writer, script doctor and consultant with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She began her career writing for CBS Saturday morning cartoons before transitioning to live-action kids' programming at Fox/ABC Family. She then advanced to half-hour comedy at HBO, later expanding her expertise to game-to-film adaptations and producing.

Over the next decade, Katayoun honed her skills working with FOX on CGI/live-action films, mastering the entire process from pre-to-post production before going on to Executive Produce films.

Katayoun's passion for nurturing writers emerged through coaching at-risk youth, which led to her work as a script doctor for film writers. After relocating to the East Coast to support her neurodivergent son, she began offering online coaching services, a venture culminating in running a multicam TV company at NBC/Universal Television.

This is a space for working on a story at any stage, from breaking it to structuring what you have to fixing what might be tripping you up.

Long-term Story Consultation

This is if you need help with a script or fiction over an extended period. Each project requires a unique approach facilitated by providing structure, feedback, and tools to get from beginning to end. We can work daily or weekly, depending on your needs.
